Drawing. Building a Proposition for Future Activities 2017
As much a technique for the documentation as for the production of realities, architectural drawing will play an important role in the project archaeology of the Summer School Building a Proposition for Future Activities. 8 selected students will record and explore the ongoing processes through digital and analogue tools, experiment with the set of classical plans, and with image/text relations. The results will be included in the publication of Building a Proposition for Future Activities. Partaking students will find the chance to discuss drawing(s) with members of partaking architectural practices Atelier Bow-Wow, In Situ, Assemble, ConstructLab and bromsky Architekten.
When is the deadline and how do I apply?
Applications can be submitted until August 25th, noon (UTC+1). Please give your name, address, field of studies/training and any information that outlines how the project would benefit from your partaking. All this must fit into an email attachment no larger than 10MB and be sent to email@example.com. Travel details and further necessary information will be collected upon acceptance. All participants will be informed about their state of application one week later via email.
Where can I stay?
To become acquainted with current and future activities in the neighbourhood of Poppenbüttel participants will find free accommodation with members of Poppenbüttel hilft e.V. The limited capacities of homestay will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
Is there compensation?
To earn credits students must actively participate in the activities on site and hand in a documentation of their work. We ask international students to provide us with all necessary paperwork so we can transfer credit points within the ECTS system. Participants can earn 2.5 CP for one event (either Project Days or Architecture Workshop), 5 CP for both events respectively.
Organized in close collaboration with the project Building a Proposition for Future Activities.
