From October 2015 to April 2021 Eva Kuschinski was working as a research and teaching associate at the professorship History and Theory of the City. She studied Sociology in Mannheim and Istanbul and Human Geography Frankfurt /Main and Toronto. In her dissertation she is researching the negotiation of the housing question through so called “Bündnisse für bezahlbares Wohnen” (“Alliances for Affordable Housing”). Under considerations of the urban policy mobilities approach those alliances are analyzed as multi-scalar reconfigurations of capacities to act upon the pressing housing crisis.
