05/03/2026 Invitation to UDP1 & UDP3 Final Presentation "Sensing Zones"

The semester comes to an end and we warmly invite you to the final presentation of the courses Urban Design Project 1 and Urban Design Project 3 part of this year’s annual theme „Sensing Zones“.

Within this theme, students in UDP1 explored how urban everyday life is shaped by overlapping and often invisible zones – social, environmental, and technological – that define how people experience and navigate urban space. They will present their findings in form of an Atlas.

In UDP3, students focused on urban areas marked by environmental risks and entangled social conflicts such as extreme heat, flooding, drought, soil contamination, and toxic waste - what we call "Red Zones".

Join us for a dense program of sharing findings, results, and questions.

When:
on Thursday, March 5th, with the following program:

- 2:15 PM | UDP 3: "Red Zones"! - Mapping Urban Risk and Conflict Zones – Presentation

- 5:00 PM | UDP 1: Sensing Zones in Urban Everyday Life – Presentation

We look forward to seeing you!

Date: 05.03.2026
