22/09/21 - 23/09/21 Urban Design Thesis Presentations

From Egypt and Hamburg to Berlin and Ethiopia. From health infrastructures, life projects and informal living practices to digital infrastructures and cyber feminism - this year's range of research areas and topics promises a wealth of relevant perspectives on the urban.
Over two days, 17 students will present a total of 16 Urban Design Thesis projects. The versatility of the theses at the Urban Design teaching and research programme shows once again that we no longer have the certainty of knowing what a city is. For those who take a closer look, the urban has always been a dynamic object of research and design in whose production we all participate.
The final theses in the Master's programme Urban Design show that this loss can be presented as a win: If we make the city tangible as a process, we can test new forms of agency with others as the city.

The event takes place via Zoom and is open to the HCU community. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to michelle.renz@hcu-hamburg.de.
