Dilan Karatas's thesis tackles the healthcare issues of unhoused women in Hamburg, illuminating the invisibility of gender-specific problems and needs of women among the unhoused. It skillfully draws attention to the gaps in the current care system and the burdensome unpaid work carried out by caregivers. The thesis is relevant until today, with the growing number of unhoused people in Hamburg's inner city highlighting the need for respective policy changes.
