Nina Riewe works at the HafenCity University on the Hamburg Open Online University Project, transferring preceding HafenCity lectures, which asked how migration produces the city, into an e-learning platform.

She holds a master’s degree in urban design from HafenCity University Hamburg. After completing research on initial reception camps in Hamburg (further information here popup:yes) , she focused, in her master’s thesis, on refugee accommodations in Vienna, based on the Austrian contribution to the 2016 Architecture Biennale.
